New Menus for Spring
Andy is working hard to introduce new menus in time for spring. As the weather warms up, we’ll have great new ingredients coming available and ready to showcase in our award-winning meals. The new menus aren’t quite ready yet but should be by next week – for now, be sure to subscribe to our email newsletter to get great recipes such as the beer and cheese soup featured in this week’s issue!  

Saturday – Stylus Chris
Rex Riddem's music career started during the early 90's, in the Washington, DC underground scene. Rex's style, highly tribal and ethnically influenced, traverses through many styles and tempos. As a DJ, Riddem has moved dancefloors across the U.S. and Latin America, and Europe. He’s recorded percussion for Afrika Bambaataa (Zulu Nation) and currently has a release out on iTunes on the Fort Knox Five label under the name Nappy Riddem. Rex is a longtime friend of Metro! – don’t miss out on another great set from this talented party rocker this Saturday! 

Friday – Valentini
Valentini, the Square Society’s annual bachelor/bachelorette auction is this Friday. Every year local singles line up to take your bids for dates at various locations around the region, and the proceeds benefit the Square Society. This year we’re auctioning off dates to a Red Sox game, Opera Roanoke and the Taubmann museum. Visit the Square Society website to check out all the events and gifts to be auctioned and read profiles on the eligible singles. Valentini – it’s a martini festival with a twist! Valentini will take place upstairs in the mezzanine at 9 PM, and the dining room will still be open for regular dinner service. Stay late and dance the night away to our fantastic DJs!

Metro! Open Sundays
Metro! is open 11:30 to 2 and 5 to close on Sundays, serving regular menu selections as well as Sunday brunch items.
